NDC's OYA postpones 24th February march

The Organized Youth of Ashanti (OYA) have called off the 1 million vote march in Ashanti for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Charles Dwamena, OYA chairman has revealed.
Information gathered by Kessben Television suggests that some NDC leaders are not in support of the procession by OYA. Although Mr Dwamena disputed these rumors, he admitted there are reasons within the party why the procession has been postponed and gave assurance of explaining those reasons tomorrow, 24th February, in a press conference.
The Organized Youth of Ashanti (OYA) were scheduled to march on the 24th February to declare the good works of President John Mahama in Ashanti with the intention of amassing 1 million votes for the NDC in 2016.
The National Patriotic Party’s Movement for Change had to be moved to 25th February following a blunder in which both parties received approval from the Ashanti Police command to hold marches on the same day.
