Constitutional lawyer punch holes in E-levy law, says it can easily be repealed

A legal practitioner, Lawyer Paul Kumi has stated that the recently passed E-levy bill into law can be reversed on the grounds of unconstitutional procedures.

The Constitutional lawyer stressed that if it was only established by the court that the process with which the bill was passed was not within the confines of the constitution, the passed bill would be abrogated even though the president has assented his signature.

When asked by Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben TV Maakye whether or not the law can be reversed, Lawyer Paul Kumi was quick to say, it can easily be repealed based on established facts that the processing of the passage was illegitimate.

The minority walked out from the floor of parliament when the bill was moved in parliament, leaving only the majority who formed a quorum to pass the bill.
