Al Ain, Leicester want David Accam

Al Ain have expressed interest in signing Helsingborg forward David Accam for SEK22m ($3m) to boost their attacking line which already boasts of Ghana striker and captain Asamoah Gyan.
Helsingborg is resigned to losing the goalscoring gem, holding firm to the 24-year old in the last transfer window from the prying eyes of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Interest in Accam reached an all-time high during the summer transfer window, which was confirmed by the club’s sporting director Roar Hansen.
”Many clubs are vying for his signature but it will take some real money for us to release to him to another club,” he said.
It remains to be seen if Al Ain’s bid represents the ‘real money’ the cash strapped Swedish club is looking for.
Interestingly, English Premier League campaigners Leicester City, could also slap in a bid to spark competition for Accam’s signature.
Leicester also boast of another Ghanaian – Jefferey Schlupp, who would also love to see his Ghanaian compatriot join him.To his credit, Accam has so far netted 17 times in 23 matches, a return which justifies the interest in him.
