Who takes Queen of Tertiary Pageant on Saturday?

The True Vine Hotel, Kumasi, will play host to the nine finalists of the maiden Queen of Tertiary Ashanti (QUOTA) pageant on Saturday, October 18, 2014.
The pageant, which is dedicated to the Queen of Asanteman, Nana Afia Kobi Ampem II, will see the young women who are from various tertiary institutions in the Ashanti Region market the region which is considered the centre of aesthetic age old tradition, through culture, language, music and dance.
The contestants are Daviete Boadu of IPMC, Eunice Esi Kum Kusi of KNUST, Rosemary Sarfo of Christian Service University, Challote Asieduwaa of Kumasi Polytechnic and Akosua Nyarko of Ghana Baptist University.
The rest are Esther Djan of University College of Education-Kumasi Campus, Erica Owusu Akyiaw of Premium Nursing Training College, Serwaa Yeboah Gyatsen of Institute of Business Management and Journalism and Phebee Charlene of Sikkim Manipal University.
Mr Evans Osei Zenith, CEO of Freshworld Entertainment, organisers of the event, said the selection of the winner for the pageant  will be based on 50 percent of the judges score and 50 percent of public votes.
The winner of the competition will take home GH¢3,000 while the first and second runners-up will receive GH¢2,000 and GH¢1,000 respectively.
