Time for us to work together – new Hearts boss

The newly appointed Managing Director for Hearts of Oak, Gerald Ankrah has stressed the need for all arms of the club to work in harmony for the club to reach its full potential.
Speaking after he was officially unveiled as the club’s new MD, Ankrah said that the trust invested in him and his management team would not be misplaced.
“I wish to assure you that the trust reposed in us will not be defeated. I’m here speaking on behalf of the management team that I’m going to work with, that whatever initiatives or plans you have we are going to put our shoulders to it and lift the club to the next level. All bodies of the club – ladies, NCC, and others what I just have to say is that it is time to work; this is the time for us to work.”
Ankrah hinted that there might be changes in certain administrative positions within the club, but stressed that such changes should not be seen as personal.
“Yes, there are going to be some changes in the club but please let’s not take it personal. It is all to ensure that we take Hearts to the next level. We are going to take Hearts to the next level with your help and my help but let us not take it personal. This is Accra Hearts of Oak and in the next few years to come, we will all gather and give a clap to the work that we’ve done.”
