Ace gospel musician Dorcas Appiah led staff of the Kessben Group of Companies in praise and thanksgiving at the quarterly retreat on Saturday, September 27.
The thanksgiving service, which took place at the Fosua Conference Hall in Adum, Kumasi, brought together staff from across the Group of companies, from senior managers to security staff and cleaners.
Worship was led by Hallelujah Voices, with church ministers from the Methodist Church who form part of the chaplaincy board sharing messages of encouragement and exhortation.
Quoting 2 Corinthians 1:8-12, Evangelist Maxwell Mensah said: “The Christian life is filled with troubles, but you must live in a way that shows that you are a Christian.” He urged them to continually pray for the company and the CEO.
Speaking to staff, Kessben Group CEO Kwabena Kesse said he was thankful to God for seeing him through the recent BNI investigation in which charges against him were dropped.
He said he had been through fire but was grateful to God for taking him through and strengthening his faith.
“If it had not been the Lord on my side, I don’t know where I would have been. The Lord has been merciful to me, and for this I am grateful”.
The Kessben Group of Companies comprises: Kessben Driving School, Kessben Computer School, Kessben Travel and Tours, Kessben FM, Kessben and Aseda TV, Kessben Consult (Estates), Kessben University College, Kessben Shipping and Forwarding, Fosua Hotel. Mr Kesse is a majority shareholder in Multi Credit Savings and Loans Ltd.
