Second group of Big Brother housemates revealed
The second batch of Big Brother ‘Hotshots’ housemates have been announced.
They are Esther from Uganda, Goitse from Botswana and Idris from Tanzania. Yesterday, BBA organisers M-Net and Endemol SA announced the first lot – Alusa from Kenya, Ellah from Uganda and Butterphly from Zimbabwe.
The six will be joined by eight others, to be revealed in batches of three in the coming days.
Altogether, contestants from 14 countries will be participating this year. They are drawn from Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Rwanda.
The fly-on-the-wall reality show, where the winner stands to win a whopping US$ 300,000, not to mention instant celebrity status.
The show will be filmed over 91 days, with a series of evictions of housemates, after which a winner will emerge.
