Ashanti Regional Police Commander DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye has commissioned a new police station at Kenyasi.
The station is aimed at improving the security situation in the community and its environs.
DCOP Kofi Boakye cautioned that his administration would not any acts that will undermine his duties either from individuals from the National Patriotic Party or National Democratic Congress or from any quarter.
During the commissioning the MP for Kwabre East, Hon Kofi Frimpong charged the police to discharge their duties well to improve the current bad image.
The MCE for Kwabre East, Hon Iddisa Adams also called on individuals to do their best in to help the police to discharge their duties.
