Game over for Kwesi Appiah?

The Black Stars coach is allegedly about to lose his job and could be replaced by Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac who is already in town.
The Ghana Football Association is expected to make the announcement soon.
The coach’s severance package is being discussed and has been speculated to be about US $ 876,000 – equivalent to two years’ salary.
A meeting between coach Appiah and the GFA is scheduled for Friday, September 12.
Appiah led the four-time African champions to their worst-ever World Cup campaign in Brazil when the Black Stars picked just a point after three group games at the last global football showpiece.
Two midfielders – Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari – were expelled in camp over issues of insubordination.
Sources have revealed that coach Appiah is yet to be officially informed of the decision but has been hinted and has psyched himself up for any “bad news within the next 24 hours.”
The Ghana FA is in discussion with the headline sponsors of the Black Stars – the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation – and other stakeholders to agree on the compensation package of the ‘Silent Killer.’
Efforts to reach the Ghana FA spokesperson Ibrahim Saanie Daara have proved futile.
