Hearts release 17 players as a cut cost measure
Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Herbert Addo has sanctioned the release of 17 players by the club ahead of the upcoming 2014/15 season.
The huge list includes four senior players namely Emmanuel Ansong, Stephen Tetteh, Sampson Cudjoe and January signing Ezekiel Tetteh with 13 others from the club’s junior side, Auroras.
Sources at the club further reveal the Phobians are working on securing loan deals for three of the senior team players while Cudjoe who joined from Medeama SC two seasons ago has been made to leave free as he was not on a binding contract with the club.
Hearts are closing in on most of their transfer targets and the club will not register more than 30 players for the new season.
