Manchester United are understood to have agreed to send Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini to Napoli on a season-long loan.
The talented midfielder joined the Red Devils from Everton last summer with high expectations. However, he failed to cement his place in the first-team following a poor show in the initial part of the campaign.
Reports had earlier claimed that new United boss Louis van Gaal was open to sending the Belgian international on a temporary basis away from Old Trafford.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, it has now been confirmed that the 26-year-old will ply his trade for the Naples outfit for the season.
