Taila Maddison, a sex worker from Newcastle, Australia, has candidly revealed she’d slept with 22 men in 10 days to get over her ex but it hasn’t gone down well with everyone

Talia has called out the double standards in today’s views.

“I slept with 22 men in 10 days – I don’t think it’s anything to be ashamed about,” says Taila Maddison, a sex worker from Newcastle, Australia The online star is known for sharing peek snippets of her spicy Lifestyle as a content creator but her recent admission hasn’t been well received.

There’s a racy saying about dealing with heartbreak that lots of people may have heard: ‘The best way to get over someone is to get under someone’. Taila revealed she had decided to test that theory when she took a trip to Europe following a tough break up and later shared in a video that she’d been with 22 different men during her 10-day holiday, all part of her bouncing-back strategy.

Her bold confession spread like wildfire after a “woke” influencer, known for dishing out controversial dating advice to men, shared it online. Freddiemc, who has almost 1 million followers across both Instagram and TikTok, wasn’t shy about expressing his views on Taila’s video, calling her actions a “disgrace to her whole bloodline”.

The 25-year-old has often faced mean comments from guys who said it showed “we’re dealing with the worst generation of women in history”. Taila explained that she’s used to getting some flak for her job, but this felt like a big “attack” just because she’s open about her love life.

“I try and block out most of the negativity, but on this scale, it’s hard to ignore,” she shared with news.com.au. “I think being called a ‘disgrace’ is harsh. If it was a guy who posted the video, him and his mates would be high-fiving each other and cheering about it. It’s extremely sad these kinds of double standards are still here in 2024.”

Research supports Taila’s view. A study showed that boys who date more are liked more, but girls get less popular. Taila also said: “Men will never ever have to experience this kind of judgment or know what it’s like to be called slut. I would never sit there and make a video about someone else’s life calling them names.”

A man reposted Freddiemc’s video on X (formerly Twitter) with a comment: “Imagine making it your mission in life to sleep with every man you run into, posting it on the internet, and expecting praise for it.” That post was seen over 5.1 million times and got lots of comments. Some people said stuff like: “That boyfriend really dodged a bullet.” And others said: “In 15 years she’ll be posting a video about how hard it is to find a husband.”
