GFA charges Aduana for violating regulations

The Ghana Football Association has preferred a charge against Aduana Stars to forfeit two matches they played in the First Capital Plus Premier League in accordance with the provisions of General Regulations of the GFA.
This follows petitions by three Premier League Clubs –  Ebusua Dwarfs, Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal.
The Club has been charged for their violation of Articles 34(1)(L) and 39(8)(b) of the Ghana Football Association General Regulations (GFA Regulations).
According to the statement of offence: “Aduana Stars, failed and refused to pay a cost of Five Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢5,000) imposed (on them) by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association within the stipulated fourteen (14) days period after the cost was communicated to them on March 21, 2014 by the Ghana Football Association before playing two First Capital Plus Premier League matches against Hearts of Lions on April 16, 2014 and Berekum Chelsea on April 20, 2014 after the expiry of the stipulated fourteen (14) days after the cost was communicated to them by the Ghana Football Association.”
Aduana Stars have until 5pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 to respond to the charge.
