Arturo Vidal demands £150,000-a-week from Man Utd

Arturo Vidal has told Manchester United he wants a salary of at least £150,000-a-week before he’ll consider moving to the Old Trafford club.
United have been holding talks with Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich in the last few days, in the hope of finalising a £35million deal for the Chile international.
However, Tuttomercatoweb reports that the transfer is stall because Vidal has rejected United’s £100,000-a-week contract offer – and is demanding at least £150,000-a-week.
United boss Louis van Gaal is said to be desperate to sign the 27-year-old, who he has admired since his days in the Bundesliga.
Vidal told Chilean TV on Tuesday that he was calm about his future and was not going to try and force through a switch.
‘I’m already at a great team, Juventus, so I will be just as calm if the Manchester United option falls through,’ he said.
Talks over a compromise are expected to continue in the next few days.
