Hearts to pounce for Didi Dramani

Accra Hearts of Oak could pounce on rivals Asante Kotoko’s head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as contract extension talks move in a ‘negative’ direction.
Footy-Ghana.com understands that the former Ghana U-17 female World Cup bronze-winning coach’s contract ends on August 27 with both parties openly committing to renewing their relationship in a new contract but negotiations have taken a nosedive.
The two-time Ghana Premier League winning coach according to our sources is holding out for a substantial increment in his monthly pay while the club feels their books will not permit them to be able to meet such a demand – thereby offering a little over his old salary.
This standoff between both parties has alerted the Phobians who have been making overtures to lure coach Dramani since last season to begin knocking at his door again. Hearts of Oak who are in search for a head coach are said to be willing to meet his demands.
Dramani who scouted the United States for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup is reportedly on a GHc5,000 monthly salary. He is expected to arrive in Kumasi on Wednesday to meet officials of the Porcupine Warriors.
