Miss Japan gives up title after alleged affair with Married man

The recent winner of the Miss Japan beauty pageant, Karolina Shiino, has resigned from her title after an affair with a married man was exposed by a Japanese newspaper.

The scandal, which was first reported by the Shukan Bunshun newspaper, alleges that Shiino had an affair with a married influencer and doctor.

Apologizing to her fans and followers on instagram, she wrote: “I am truly sorry for the huge trouble I have caused and for betraying those who supported me.

“unable to speak the truth due to confusion and fear.”

Due to the scandal, Shiino cancelled her contract with her agency “Free wave” which they also accepted to cancel it.

“I also asked my agency to be removed from my affiliation, and it was accepted. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and for betraying everyone who has supported us,” Shiino added.
