NDC hiding behind Senchi Consensus – POTAG vice president
Mr Kusi Boafo, the vice president of the Polytechnic Teachers Association of Ghana (POTAG), has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of being cowards.
Speaking on Kessben FM ‘s Democracy show, Mr Boafo said that the ruling government lacks the courage to implement very important decisions and was hiding under the Senchi Consensus.
He went on to say that the forum was of no relevance particularly as delegates included personalities such as Madam Akua Donkor, the 2012 presidential candidate for the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), who has no economics background.
“After all, the NDC government are the cause of the economic hardship and must come back to correct their mistakes rather than being indecisive and hiding under the concept of this unproductive economic forum so as to save their face when crisis arises. Ghana must be serious as a country”, he added.
Mr Boafo is an accountant and a lecturer at the Kumasi Polytechnic.
