Erratic power supply threatens livelihoods in Ashanti Region and countrywide
The continuous erratic power supply is stalling businesses at Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region, causing many traders to close early.
Mr Kwesi Adjei, a car spare parts and electricals trader, said: “Most of our work depends on electricity. The current power outages are making it very difficult to do business, and as a result we are losing most of our customers.”
In an interview with Kessben Television, some business men described as appalling the rate at which the lights go on and off and have appealed to the government to do something about it urgently.
Meanwhile, the government has assured the nation that very soon the power outages will be a thing of the past.
