23-year-old man in critical condition after being shot by his hunter friend who mistook him as ‘Akrantie’ Grasscautter
23-year-old Emmanuel Amoah is currently battling for his life at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu following a shooting incident at Assin Adiembra in the Assin South District of the Central.
Information gathered by Kessben FM’s Oheneba Ambrose indicates the suspect whose name was given only as K.B asked the victim to escort him to a hunting expedition.
When they got to the farm, the suspect led the victim into a deep forest and asked him to wait for him at a particular spot.
The victim while waiting, started feeling uncomfortable with the situation so he decided to run to a plane sight.
In the process of his movement, the suspect directed the gun at him and shot him in the back without provocation.
While lying motionless, the suspect used the gun barrel to feel the victim’s body to confirm he was indeed dead.
The victim who imagined the suspect could shoot him again feigned death but later crawled on his knees to the roadside and shouted for help.
