Residents must help us find attackers – Ashaiman Police

The Ashaiman police are appealing to residents who live in Dodowa to assist them in the arrest of a group of people who shot at some surveyors in the area on Tuesday.

The surveyors had gone to the area to survey a piece of land when they were attacked by some land guards.

One person was shot dead leaving the three others were seriously injured.

Speaking to Citi News he Ashaiman Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent David Eklu indicated that the Ashaiman Divisional police has taken over the investigations. 

According to him, “the police have taken statements from some residents and would be visiting the hospitals to talk to the three who were injured to see if they can assist them in investigations.”

He indicated that with the aid of residents, it would lead to the early arrest of the unidentified men.
