Office of Gloria Akuffo ransacked, again
The office of a member of the legal team of the petitioners in the election petition case, madam Gloria Akuffo, has been raided for a second time by unknown assailants.
Confirming the incident on Eyewitness News, madam Akuffo said, “I have just been informed by one of the members of staff of the office that it was discovered this morning [Wednesday] that our offices have been broken into again and that they took away some two computers; they also went into our server and took away the hard drive and the memory.”
According to Madam Akuffo the incident has been reported to the Police, who have conducted preliminary checks on the scene of the incident.
She however expressed surprise at the incident and described it as bizarre.
“Honestly I am surprised. I don’t know who are involved in this, I don’t know what they are looking for and I find it strange, bizarre and surprising.
I don’t have a clue who are doing this and I don’t know what they are looking for.”
She expressed a level of skepticism about the outcome of the investigations by the Police citing the unavailability of a conclusion from the Police after her first robbery earlier in the year.
“Nothing has come out of the first investigation; they say they don’t have enough information so nothing has come out yet.”
