Ministerial reshuffle shows Mahama is indecisive – NPP

The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has described President John Mahama’s latest ministerial reshuffle as an indication that he is an indecisive leader.

President Mahama on Monday reshuffled all his Regional Ministers citing the need for integration for national development.

But speaking to Citi News, the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie stated that the move by the President is not likely to have any impact on the governance of the economy.

“For us, it is much ado about nothing. The President himself suffers from indecision as he recorded in his own book so this is a confirmation of the fact that this is a man who appeared not to know what he is doing.”

He added that the President’s decision of a reshuffle is indicative that he “appears not to have been satisfied with whether or not he has done the right thing and I think that that is what has informed that.”

Mr. Afriyie further described the Ministerial reshuffle as the “shortest and earliest goal that has been ever scored in the political journey of any country.”
