EC fixes February 6 for Regional Council of State elections

The Electoral Commission has fixed February 6 for the elections of regional representatives to the Council of State.
A statement signed by the Commission’s Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, Kwadwo Sarfo-Kantanka, said nominations will be opened on January, 21 and 22 from 8:00am to 12:00 noon and between 2 and 4pm during the period.
According to the statement, nomination forms will be available at all Regional Offices of the Commission.
It urged prospective candidates to submit two recent photographs to the Returning Officer on submission of their nomination forms.
