‘Akufo-Addo has now taken us as animals in a cage’ – NPP woman cries uncontrollably at NIA centre (Video)

With the deadline for the SIM card registration approaching, there has been massive crowd at the various National Identification Centres across Ghana.

The communications minister, Hon Ursula Owusu apparently said her outfit would not extend the deadline of 31st July 2022 though about 5 million Ghanaians have still not registered their SIM cards.

Most of the people who have not registered their SIM cards are a result of not having their Ghana card provided to them by the NIA.

Some others have had theirs gone missing or invalid and they have applied for new ones but are yet to get them.

Kessben TV’s cameras were at the NIA centre in Adum, Kumasi with hundreds of people in a queue waiting to be served.

One woman revealed that for the past 4 days she has had to spend nights at the premises of the NIA just for her to get her Ghana card but she still has not gotten it due to how everything is poorly managed.

She stressed that president Akufo-Addo has really disappointed her, a diehard member of the NPP who really loves the party. She reiterated that the president has now taken the ordinary citizenry as animals in a cage.
