Ambassador-Designate Of The Kingdom Of The Netherlands Present Open Letters To Ayorkor Botchwey

His Excellency Mr. Jeroen Verheul, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has presented an Open Letter to Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey , Ghana’s foreign Minister.

Ghana and Netherlands have had long-standing and fruitful bilateral relations, which date back to the 1970s.

Honourable Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey reaffirmed Ghana’s determination and her personal desire to continue to forge strong partnerships of cooperation between the two countries.

She Stated that even in the face of the global pandemic of COVID-19, Ghana’s economy continues to show resilience and urged the Dutch envoy to encourage Dutch investors to continue doing business in Ghana.

She added that for the post COVID-19 recovery, Ghana was currently implementing the Ghana COVID-19 Alleviation and Revitalization of Enterprise Support (CARES) initiative, a GHȻ100 billion post COVID-19 programme which is intended to stabilize, revitalize and transform Ghana’s economy to create jobs and prosperity for Ghanaians over a three-year period.

Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey congratulated and assured him of foreign affairs and regional integration, to enable him discharge his duties in Ghana effectively.
