The about 80% of Kotoko people on the EXCO of GFA won’t sit for Kotoko to be cheated, there’s no hate – GFA Spokesman
According to the spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, there are more “Kotoko people” on the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association than any football club.
There are widespread assertions of some Kumasi Asante Kotoko supporters and management members of the club that, the Ghana Football Association led by Kurt Okraku have an agenda against their club following claims that they are mostly cheated by referees in the premier games.
According to these fans, the president of the Ghana football association Kurt Okraku who is a well-known Accra Hearts of Oak fan is allegedly behind machinations to ensure that Kotoko does not do well under his reign.
Henry speaking on Kessben TV rubbished the claims of any agenda-setting or hate by the GFA to any club. He reiterated that there are even more Kotoko people on the executive committee of the GFA that won’t sit for such to happen.
“The assertion that GFA hates Asante Kotoko is completely wrong. If you look at the structure of the Board of the Ghana Football Association, only two people are Hearts of Oak fans.
Randy Abbey and Kurt Okraku. The rest of the BoD members which are about 10 might be all Kotoko people, likes of George Amoako, Frederick Acheampong, and Habiba Atta, all of them are Kotoko people, so how can ten people sit for only two people to do that? There’s no hate” He pointed out.
