Politicians are threats to Ghana’s peace – Prof. Adei

A former Reactor of GIMPA, Professor Stephen Adei, has said the behaviour of politicians in Ghana is the most single threat to national peace.

Prof Adei noted that what politicians say in public are sometimes very disheartening since it tends to threaten the peace of the country.

He made this known during a peace symposium in Accra, organised by the Ghana National Association of Adventists Students, as part of efforts to reinforce the campaign for peace ahead of the December 7 elections.

He cautioned politicians to desist from playing the ethnic card.

Prof Adei expressed delight that this year’s general election is more of issue base, mentioning education as an example, which he said is an improvement upon Election 2008.
