Superintendent Gabriel Dokyi, Tema District Police Commander, told Daily Guide that Eric Nartey, who was in charge of Toyota Hilux with registration number GR 2567 W, allegedly caused damaged to the driver’s mirror of Francis’s vehicle at about 9:30 am at Community One, site 20 in Tema.
He added that Francis, who was critically injured, asked Eric to board his taxi for them to report the matter at the police station.
The District Police Commander said that a heated argument ensued between the cabbie and Eric, after Eric refused to pull his colleague from the Toyota car, adding that Eric allegedly came out from his car with a hammer which he supposedly used in hammering the victim’s head.
